![]() ![]() I’ll use normal Goroth from Tomb as an example: My character’s Live HP: 526k Normal Goroth’s Live HP: 2.97 mil (about 5.5x my HP) My character’s PTR HP: 26.5k Normal Goroth’s PTR HP: 816k (about 30.7x my HP) I haven’t check every Legion raid yet but this is pretty indicative that the Legion raids need to. ![]() Mythics are an obvious way to gear up for raids with the potential of getting gear that “titanforges” to an ilvl even higher than normal raid baselines. Legion raid bosses are currently not soloable, even for a mythic geared toon. Either way, LFR can be a great place to get gear for your character. In LFR however, you can safely ignore them with a much reduced risk of dying compared to the higher difficulties. ![]() For example the first boss in Emerald Nightmare, Nythendra, has many mechanics that can punish you if aren’t paying attention. Players can also attempt raids in LFR, but unless a conscious effort is made to utilize the mechanics of the encounter you might not get much raiding experience out of it. A character around 840 ilvl with all their gear enchanted and socketed will be able to perform well in normal raids. You should make an effort to have plenty of food that provides them with a beneficial stat bonus such as mastery, crit, or whatever is important for your class/specialization. Beyond player skill considerations, consumables and player equipment are important. I used a second account with a level 44, that character basically followed around the character I wanted the gear for, we'd go into the instance I'd kill everything with my main, the 44 would loot the boss and would trade needed items to my main. Players should read up on all boss fights and familiarize themselves with the dungeon guide to learn boss mechanics at a minimum. This way the gear will drop at ilvl 50, having the best stats possible. Preparation is everything for WoW raiding. ![]()
